Fifth Grade Newsletter

Events/Information

·        Valentine’s Day is Tuesday.  We have put on the back of this newsletter the first names of all the students in fifth grade.  We don’t have a party but we do give time to exchange Valentines.  We request if you choose to participate that you have the same kind of valentine for all fifth grade students. The students can bring in a bag or box to stash their loot. Please honor our request of exchanging any individual gifts off campus.  Thank you!

·        Winter break is the week of February 20^th.

·        Chick-fil-A spirit night is March 6^th.

·        Fifth grade writing assessment is March 7^th.

·        Picture Day is March 9^th.

Reminders

·         Six Flag reading tickets are due February 17^th.

·         District Writing Contest forms are due February 17^th.  Students get $10 in their accounts if they participate.

·         We are so proud of how hard our kids worked to complete their Student Treasures books.  We can't wait for them to be sent back to us.  We will have a gathering to share and celebrate when they arrive.

Volunteer and Supply Needs

·         The fifth grade baskets for the Brighten Gala are “Date Night” and “Stay-cation.”  Let our room moms know if you have anything that you can donate. 

·         We are in need of bathroom cups and red, pink, yellow and light blue copy paper.  Thank you.
