Kristin Anderson is a gifted certified teacher who has been teaching second grade at Brighten Academy for the past five years. Kristin earned her Bachelors degree from Brigham Young University and her teaching certification from the University of West Georgia. She is a long time resident of Douglasville. She is married to Joel who is a Sergeant with the MARTA Police Department. They have three children who all attend Brighten with her—Brendan (13), a talented travel baseball player, Cassidy (11), a competitive cheerleader, and Owen (7), a football and baseball player.
