2. Create an account. For "District" choose "Brighten Academy"
3. When it gives you the choice to "Add a Student", choose "Skip This Step" (unless you have a student at the school to whom you would like to link the account)
4. Tickets are on the home page as a featured item under "Weekend of the Arts"
5. All tickets will be held at will call under the student's name or (if no student is linked to the account) under the name on the credit card used to purchase the tickets

Volunteer Hours Due in Track it Forward By May 1, 2017
Just a reminder that your volunteer hours are due May 1st. All families must be in good standing (with hours and outstanding debt) so that your student can participate in field day. If you need help getting your hours, please contact your child's teacher or the office.

Brighten Academy celebrates 10th year Students say 'it is cool to be smart here'

Brighten Academy is celebrating its 10th year as a charter school in Douglas County, and according to Principal Lisa McDonald, they have a lot to celebrate. "The things we have accomplished are phenomenal," she said. "The reform model, the new facility, good board members and staff -- a good, committed group of people. The students really value their experience here."
