Welcome to 7th grade Mathematics with Mrs. Brown.

I am extremely excited to join the Brighten Academy family.  I am originally from Chicago, IL, but I moved to Douglasville after living in Las Vegas, NV for 3 years.  I have been teaching for 5 years, prior to I worked in banking for 13 years.

I have been married for 11 years to my amazing husband Marcel, and we have two wonderful children, Ayden-3 and Addison-1. 

I am excited to meet each of you and I am looking forward to an awesome school year.  I cannot wait to learn more about each of you!
